There are two voluntary regulators for Shiatsu in the UK. Our Practitioner Listing search allows for practitioners to state if they are registered with a regulator so please do read their profiles.

CNHC – Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council

The CNHC was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. Many practitioners choose to be registered with the CNHC, especially those working within the NHS.

GRCCT – General Regulatory Council for Complementary Therapies

GRCCTs purpose is to protect the public by promoting and enforcing high standards of education, performance and conduct amongst practitioners of Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
