Shiatsu & Sleep

“I see Mark on a weekly basis for a Shiatsu treatment. I suffer from many illnesses and without Mark I am positive I would be suffering a lot more and not be able to work. If I miss a Shiatsu I cannot sleep, my body is very stiff, and I have a lot of pain. Can highly recommend Mark and Shiatsu.” SH, Rugby

Shiatsu & Tension

“I started having Shiatsu as I had so much tension in my shoulders.  After just one treatment my pain was relieved!  Each time I have tension now Shiatsu is my first port of call.” DT, Warwickshire

Shiatsu & Relaxation

“I have a very stressful job and have many problems sleeping and relaxing. Shiatsu has been a godsend to me.  After each treatment I feel so light, relaxed, refreshed, ‘straightened’. I cannot describe the difference Shiatsu has made to my life. Thank you so much.”  Malcolm, West Midlands

Shiatsu & Relaxation

“I have suffered so much this year. Part of my palliative care is my regular Shiatsu treatments. My practitioner is so accommodating. Having had Shiatsu for several years for many reasons my practitioner is so understanding, not being able to be fully treated sometimes, just being here for me, just the relaxation, just the holding, just the gentleness and the caring touch. He always knows what I need and how to adapt the session accordingly. He knows how to lift my spirit and relieve. Falling to sleep after the treatment is just bliss.”  Jen, West Midlands.

Shiatsu and TMJ Pain (Temporomandibular Joint)

“In my own practice, I have seen numerous cases of Shiatsu’s unique healing properties. One par-ticular client’s recovery using Shiatsu was especially rewarding. Several years ago, this client visited me with severe TMJ (temporomandibular joint) pain. It was so severe she could not open her mouth fully and was restricted to eating soft, mushy foods. She had been feeling pain in the jaw for about 1-1/2 years, and now she was experiencing severe headaches as well. She had gone to see several specialists who recommended surgery. Shiatsu done on her neck and shoulders pro-vided considerable relief after just one treatment. By the end of the third treatment all pain and accompanying symptoms were gone. She couldn’t believe the results and was now even able to manage a smile! I was especially surprised that the recovery came so quickly, as I had anticipated at least 6 to 10 treatments.”
